My little girl is 15 months old! Wow, how the time has flown! Today we went for Landree's 15 month well visit. It was great! And a bonus-no shots!
She weighs 20 pounds now so we can finally turn her car seat around! YEA! She's 30 1/2 inches tall and in the 10% for her weight and 50% for her height. She's always been in a higher percentile for her height, but Dr. Mac said she will probably hit a little growth spurt again and catch back up.
Landree talks all the time, but by far her favorite thing to do is make animal sounds. She can bark like a puppy, make a kitty sound, monkey, elephant, cow, chicken, horse, snake, tiger, she really tries hard to make a pig sound, but can 'snort' yet, but we know that's what she's doing. She also says bye-bye and hey! She says Momma, DaDa, Jack Jack and Pop-Pop-Pop-Pop...for Popee. Jackson is one of our friends, but I think she says it because Popee calls her that sometimes (weird...I know) I also think Jack is so easy because it's kinds like snack...she says snack, thank you (in the cutest way) and ook (book) too.
Today was also the first day for Landree to take one nap. She used to nap at 11 and 4 and since we've been home from Texas she hasn't been falling asleep until around 5 and then I have to wake her up at 6. I talked to the doctor and she said that this is a good age to go to one nap...for selfish reasons I had been putting this off for as long as I could, but today we tried it and she did great! She slept for about 2 1/2 hours. I was kind of lonely waiting on her to get up. It will be nice to have a longer nap time so that I can get things done while she's sleeping and so we can run errands a little easier now, but it's sad too because she's just getting so big so fast.
