Edelweiss

For Krissy's 26th birthday we celebrated by going to dinner at Edelweiss in Ft. Worth. Pete and Angie, Brian, Krissy, Maggie and Jeff all have memories of going to Edelweiss growing up. It was definitely an experience and not what I expected at all! It's a small family owned German restaurant. They have live music, singing, and dancing every night. I was a little sceptical at first, but we had so much fun doing the chicken dance and watching everyone dance. I am the only one that opted for chicken fried steak {instead of sour kraut, cabbage, schnitzel} but I was very pleased with my choice. You have to see the decorations to believe them:

This lady was playing a saw. The man standing next to us said it was a lost art-and he was very serious when he said it.

I just love the "unattended children" sign...definately 2 things we don't want!

I also like both the kids signs. Kind of funny. :)

Looks like you guys had fun. I would have ordered what you got because I am not a big fan of German food, except the desserts. :)

Looks like you all had a great time! We lived in FW for three years while Jase went to SWBTS for his Masters. We never visited this restaurant though...

Hope you're having a great day!
