What does 3 weeks out of town do to a preschooler?

Here's the proof from Landree's preschool note:
Becoming more oppositional-refused to wash hands for snack (finally agreed after blessing) and refused to help clean up. Time out given during gym time. (We are hoping it's still jet lag)
She was cheerful/happy. Other information: Good day. Possessive of toys at time-hordes them and won't let anyone else play (mostly dolls and paraphernalia) Tearful when she didn't get her way.

What? What happened to these notes? I hope it's not the '2 year' old thing catching up with us (I don't really believe in that anyway). I think after a good detox of grandparents, cookies, and almost unlimited Mickey Mouse Clubhouse we'll be back to normal in no time. I'll take a grumpy girl almost anytime for 3 great weeks with our family. I do wonder why we call it vacation-I can barely catch my breath-our house looks like it exploded and I know everyone is dying to see the rest of our Christmas pictures {insert sarcasm} but I do want to get them up soon for my benefit.

How about you? Are you in catch up mode too?

I am sure it is just getting over being out of her normal routine and place that has gotten her not being herself. I am sure that once she gets back into her normal routine that she will be back to her self. :) Of course, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse can make anyone be nice. :) We will pray for this.

Hey Jennifer, well you know I'm one of those mom's who've seen a lot. She's most likely adjusting and getting used to being home and preschool. I bet by next week Miss Landree will be back to her normal self. I would imagine she's always very sweet. She is just adorable BTW!

Long holidays are sooo challenging at our house too. Although we love spending time together, the kids get completely out of their routines and, as a result, usually act like wild Indians! I hope Landree is back to her sweet self soon!

Poor Landree! Sounds like she wants her vacation back.

I am in catch up mode, too! But, have you been to my blog lately? I can't figure out what's up with my background and I knew you would be the person with the answer, I hope. Have a great day!

Sarah's first few days back were a little rough...she had too many late nights and really got off her schedule....it catches up with them.

I am really just starting to catch my breath...this week has been a rough one...I am so glad tomorrow is Friday!!

Hope you can get a little R&R this weekend!

Love your blog! Love the preschool note:) (They're really telling you that she is a fabulously independent female!) She's adorable!

Warmly,

I think it is an adjustment for everyone to return to their routine after a long holiday. Over the break Landree's teacher must have forgotten how two-year-olds behave!

I enjoyed the pictures from your Christmas. Landree looked so adorable in her pajamas.

Happy New Year!

I don't know how you are doing it. We were gone for 3 days and my house is a total disaster!!!!!!
But I am sure it was totally worth it!
And Landree will be back to good soon!
