After yesterday's post about our snow last week-I thought I'd share about our day today, a beautiful 75 degrees! We got up early and headed to the botanical gardens at the zoo to practice a little of what I learned at the workshop. At first I was wondering why I even tried. I had Landree's diaper bag, my reflector board, and my camera bag, oh, and Landree. A man with a fancy Nikon and all of his gear even offered to hold my reflector, but I just didn't feel confident enough. I did use of of Debbie's tips and had Landree lay down on her belly {so she couldn't run away!} I got several really cute shots. And when I got desperate I whipped out a sucker! Bribery always works.
I used one of Debbie's presets on these. She has a new set for sale on her site if you use lightroom. Enjoy!

Jennifer---these are GREAT! I could hear your frustration in the post but your efforts were worth it. These are Fabulous! I cannot imagine using a reflector board by myself with a toddler;)

Jennifer,
WOW girlfriend! I have always loved the photos you have taken, but the ones since the workshop are incredible. I am working on using a reflector too, not too easy with a 2 year old (lol). Great job.
