Memory Verses

We've been working on scripture memory verses with Landree since January. I'm completely amazed at this little girl, her memory, and her sweet little heart for Jesus. Even though she doesn't have a personal relationship with him yet, I pray that she will one day and I know that it makes Him smile knowing she's already storing His word in her heart. I love to hear her say these verses. It's been a great refresher for me too. While I did know most of these verses-I have a hard time with the references. We say each of these every night before bed. It's really challenged me too!

The other challenging thing has been trying to get it on video! Landree is so interested in seeing what's on the other side of the camera it's hard to 'catch her' and she doesn't really preform on demand.

Here are the verses we say each evening (and a translation):

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Psalms 119:105 Thy Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

2 Corinthians 5:17 If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. The old is gone and the new has come.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son.

John 14:6 I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through me.
