2 months old

I can't believe Hudson is 2 months old already (actually 9 1/2 weeks!) Time is going too quickly and he's growing so fast! We went to the doctor on Thursday for his 2 month well visit and he's up to 13.9 pounds and 24 inches long! That's the 90th percentile for weigh and between the 75th and 90th percentile for height.

Here's the scoop on what's going on with him right now:
  • He is wearing size 2 diapers
  • He can still wear 0-3 month clothes, but he's starting to wear 3-6 month sleepers so he can stretch his legs :)
  • He still sleeps lots during the day and we aren't on a 'schedule' just yet, but he is starting to eat about every three hours and can go about 6 hours at night! (Thank you Jesus!)
  • He managed to survive Landree and Daddy having the flu for a week and a half without getting it. (Double thank you Jesus!)
  • He is starting to 'talk' a lot. Hudson, you love to hear Daddy say your name, and you smile when Mommy talks to you, and love love to hear Landree sing (thank goodness since she does that a lot)
  • He hardly ever cries-aside from the last two days when I've left his paci at home. Because he LOVES his paci! It was love at first suck and not just any paci, but the latex Mam paci's. His entire fist comes in at a close secon
  • Today I took Hudson to have his feet x-rayed-another praise everything looks normal! One of his little feet turned in a little when he was born and our doctor has been watching it and just wanted to get an x ray to make sure everything looked good. I've never even had an x ray before :)
Hudson, slow down a little! I love watching you grow, but I want this 'little' stage to last a little longer. I can't believe you've already been a part of our family for 2 months! You're the perfect little addition and it's already hard to remember what life was like without you. I love you little man!

I don't know you but I fell upon your blog last May when I did a google search for "Landree". I was looking for a name for our 4th child and loved Landry but wasn't happy with the spelling. So, after I saw your blog and how you spelled Landree, that became her name! She is now 1 month old and I just now looked at your blog again and I'm guessing your husband is a youth pastor...so is mine (at a bible church in Oklahoma). Anyways, thanks for the idea of how to spell Landree. It's unique and we love that we named our baby Landree! You have a beautiful family. God bless your ministry!
