NOT Skipping Christmas!

We haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but after a bloggy break because of the flu, packing, vacation, Thanksgiving, and us still being out of town I haven't had much time or 'want to' to blog. But I'm determined to get back on track! I love being able to look back at our Christmas' past and since I don't have much time for scrapbooking these days this is our official scrapbook too so I need to stay current!

We are officially moved thanks to my fabulous husband! I didn't do a thing...seriously. I packed about 8 boxes and Jeff did the rest. Then we all traveled to Texas for a week for Thanksgiving. Jeff went back to SC while the kids and I have been in TX visiting with family and friends, shopping, and having play dates. We can't wait to get home and see the house next year (we are going to be here until Jan. 2nd! ) Jeff has been very busy laying hardwood floors, painting, unpacking and so much more! I've been busy shopping! Picking up new things for the new house and Landree's new big girl room. We've also been making Christmas cookies, gone to the Nutcracker, and two Christmas tour of homes.

Tomorrow we are going to see Santa at NorthPark Mall with my friend, Megan, and her little boy, Hayden. We love the Santa in SC. He's fabulous! But this year we happened to have the flu on Oct. 31st when we were supposed to visit him (not very Christmas-y I know). We had to schedule early for pictures and then we missed him! So I promised Hudson (not that he really knows, but I wanted his first trip to visit Santa to be special) that I would take him to see the NorthPark Santa.

Here's a little background from Pegasus News, "Heralded as "one of the country's premier Santa's" by CBS News, NorthPark Center's Santa Claus is a Dallas favorite. Carl Anderson, Ph.D., has been portraying Santa Claus for 25 years, the last 19 at NorthPark Center. Anderson, who has an uncanny resemblance to Old Saint Nick, is an adjunct professor of educational psychology at the University of Texas in Austin, a counseling psychologist working with families, a distinguished author of many books and an award-winning professional storyteller. He has been featured in "The Wall Street Journal", "People Magazine", "USA Today", and other national publications as well as on NPR, CNN, The Movie Channel and MTV." They allow you to take your own pictures as well as buy portraits (that's what they call them which I thinks means they must be a fortune). I'll keep you posted and hope to get pictures up and get caught up soon! Jeff will be flying in on Tuesday! We can't wait to see him!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!
