First Day of Preschool...

Today was Landree's first day of preschool. She will be going on Tuesday and Thursday mornings until noon. Normally, Jeff will be taking her to school, but this morning we both took her. You didn't think the mommarazzi would let this occasion go un-photographed, did you?

I got her bag ready last night and her little labeled drink cup ready to go along with the papers we needed to return and the items we were supposed to bring for her class. We packed her lunch to take to the church because Jeff will be picking her up from preschool and bringing her back with him to eat and then I'll bring her home with me in time for her nap (which is what she's doing right now.)

We got up early and had pancakes so her little tummy would be full and ready for school. Check out that last picture, like "quit taking my picture."

I had Landree pause and pose for me on her first day of preschool! Aww...

And then as we waited in the hall for the teacher to open the door I took one last picture...the door opened and in she walked in...no looking back. I am so grateful she is so outgoing and social! It was a little tough on me (not even a good bye), but I am so glad she's so flexible and just went right in without any hesitation. I love her school and can't wait for her to learn and meet new friends. She is going to love it and her new teachers! She had a great first day-here's the report we got:

It says she was cheerful/happy. Ate all of her snack. Had a very good day (underlined). She enjoyed playing with all of the toys, and was very patient of others. I am so glad :) The teacher said 4 kids piled onto this little boat she was rocking in and she just let them.

Landree, I'm so glad you had a great first day at preschool. I love you baby! Don't grow up too quickly!

Yeah!!!! I am so glad that she had a great day! Hopefully each time she goes will be even better. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to watch her as she interacted with others and with the different toys.

Can't believe it though that it is time for them to go to their school.

She is so cute! Glad that she had a great first day of preschool. When I picked up Bryce today, he said "I like my new school". He had a great first day too. Our kids are growing right before our eyes.
