We now interrupt this unpacking for a little blogging…

Seriously, this was my mom’s house a few days before we left. And, sadly, it looks pretty neat compared to what the new house has looked like…I wish I would have taken a ‘before’ picture of the mess because the after is going to be quite different. I just hope we will get most of it done before my mom leaves. She, graciously, drove across the country pulling a trailer with all of the goodies we got for Christmas and furniture we bought while we were home for the playroom and our bedroom. We have all been working like crazy around here (and seriously I don’t know how we could have done it without my mom-it would have been July before we were unpacked. She’s keeping me on task) not taking many breaks which means no time for blogging, but tonight we are watching American Idol (from last night) and I’m trying to catch up so there will be a few posts set up over the next few days. House pictures coming soon…

Also, please be praying for Sharon, my friend Megan's mom, she had surgery yesterday and is still on a ventilator and being sedated. You can read more about her surgery on Megan's blog.

Also, be praying for the people of Haiti, I can't imagine the devastation they are facing right now. Our pastor went on a mission trip to Haiti and the DR in December and was scheduled to return on Sunday afternoon, but hasn't heard about the condition of the airport yet. Our church is working with 3 young pastors there and we haven't heard from them yet.  I don’t know if I should post there names or not, but please be in prayer for them also.

I hope you're not too overwhelmed with everything and glad that you're finally in your new home!

My prayers are with your friend and I already shed a few tears for the people in Haiti last night, thanks for mentioning them.
