Strawberry Picking

This week is spring break for our local schools and Landree’s preschool follows the same schedule.  This morning we went strawberry picking!  I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but I can tell you that Hudson ate his weight in strawberries and really enjoyed playing in the dirt.  Landree loved eating too and picking and talking with her friends.  After we picked two big baskets we headed to the park to play for a bit before we headed to lunch.  Poor Hudson feel asleep on the way to the park and on the way home from lunch.  Strawberry picking is hard work!  (actually, they were super easy to pick :)

He also liked eating the dirt (more like sand).  He must be deficient in something!  He did the same thing at the beach last year.

Landree loved the strawberries too!

The girls :)

Don’t be fooled by the picture.  I had her pick one for the camera.  I think the kids ate more than they picked.

I bet I took 50 group pictures.  They are funny!  The first 20-no Samuel and they just go down hill from there :) This is the first shot and probably the best, but we had a fun time :)

And the last shot-not even one of them are looking.

Love it!! And what a fun "play date". The group pictures are hillarious (and sweet too)! Love them!

Man, I am needing some of those strawberries! They look so yummy! Hudson thought the dirt was yummy, so maybe I need some of that too. ;-)

that is so funny that not a one of our kids is looking in that last shot. something more interesting had all their eyes. :) we still had fun though. at least you got a great picture of the strawberry fields.
