I pledge allegiance

Y’all the darndest thing happened!  Landree is growing up right before my very eyes and she is SO SMART!  I have always known it, but I am her parent, I might be a tad partial.  She was the only kid in her 1 year old class who knew all her colors.  She was the only kid in her 2 1/2 year old class who knew every letter by sight.  She can cut and color in the lines.  She can spell her name (for a long while now) and write it.  And today we were in the kitchen and I don’t even know what got her started but she just started saying the Pledge of Allegiance and followed it up with America the Beautiful!  I about fell out on the floor, and then I made her do it over and over for me.  It’s not perfect, but I didn’t even know she was learning this and she has been in school less than 2 weeks!  Enjoy the cutest, smartest thing you’ve ever seen here :)

Oh my word! I am cracking up! Kamree came home her second week of Kindergarten and said that she learned a new prayer. I asked what it was and she said the Pledge of Allegiance. She could recite the whole thing and ended with a big, "AMEN!" I had no idea she even knew it. Our little gals are soooo smart!

She is super smart and oh so cute! We have been studying the Pilgrims and I have tried each day to teach them the Pledge and American the Beautiful, they were not interested. Lottie said, "Why should we have to learn this, we live in Mexico and we sing the Viva Mexico song" ha ha ha
