Baby Shower in South Carolina

The girls in my small group {and best friends here} threw a baby shower for us a few weeks ago. We are all set! I got so many cute boy things, and it was so fun to have a girl morning together complete with my favorite shower foods! I love shower food, don't you? Yum!

We were showered with so many things we still needed! Bibs, blankets and burp clothes, oh my! And a few other goodies too!

After the shower I immediately came home and washed all of Hudson's new little clothes, bibs, and blankets. Thank you girls so much! I love y'all!

Boy oh Boy-A baby shower!

My sweet friends, Shauna and Megan, hosted a baby shower for baby Hudson and I when we were in Texas a few weeks ago. It was so fun getting to catch up with lots of friends I don't get to see very often. The shower was at the tea room in Point on Sunday afternoon, and the girls ordered yummy cupcakes and made chocolate covered strawberries. Landree had a ball helping me open all the goodies for baby Hudson. The presents all packed perfectly {mainly gift cards, and Landree could tell you the ones from Target, our favorite store! Do you think that is good or bad?} Our friends, the Blake's, thought about Landree and made a little goodie bag for her too-complete with bubbles and a fun Mickey Mouse Clubhouse activity book, and the always prepared Aunt Maggie {who knows us so well} brought Landree stickers to play with. You can see them randomly placed on just about everyone's clothes at the shower.

Hayden Luke will be here before we know it, and I am so glad that was able to go home for Megan's baby shower a few weekends ago.

Momma and I made cakeballs for the party favors. I have seen these on several different sites, but the original idea belongs to Bakerella and her cake pops are the cutest!!! I made these from memory and they are really easy, but I would recommend freezing them before dipping in the chocolate. I am sure that was part of the decorations, but we skipped this step. It would have made it much easier.

The hostesses-My momma, me, Megan, Barbara, Karla, Mary Helen and Megan and my best friend Shauna (Karla's daughter) who lives in Alaska couldn't be there but she was in spirit :)

I love you friend! I am so excited to watch you with Hayden-I know you'll be a great mommy! I am so glad I was able to be home for the shower.

Update on Carter and other random things...

Update: My friend Kim commented that she didn't know how I have time to do everything. I assure you I'm not a super mom. My house shows it. I'd just rather do fun stuff-and I've finally become almost ok with it.

Carter is home and doing well. Jen is tired, but I know she'll take tired over the hospital. Continue to keep them in your prayers.

My friend Julie sent me a link to this blog for these super cute marshmallow lollipops. They are so cute and her whole blog is full of crafts. I've bookmarked it! Love. it.

My friend, Megan, is about 10 weeks away from having baby Hayden, and I have baby shower on the brain! Landree and I are flying home in a few weeks for her shower. I've been working on her invitations {I'll give you a preview later} and I love those lollipops and how she packaged them so much I think we are going to make them as the favors for the shower. Kristin links these cute stickers for the cellophane bags {and honestly they are what make these for me}. I love them! I think they are so cute and reasonable!!! It's just deciding which ones to order!
