10 years later and pictures

I know that this isn’t the picture that Popee wants to see, but it’s worth mentioning that Jeff and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on Friday.  I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband that loves me and cherishes me.  I am so thankful for how hard he works for our family so that I can stay home with our children.  And he’s a true romantic. :)  He surprised me at dinner by having different friends and students bring me a rose and note every 5-10 minutes with something that he loves about me, one for each year we’ve been married.  I love you Jeff!  Can’t wait for many more years together!

I love this picture of my crew, I don’t get a real smile out of this girl when the camera comes out and you can just see pure joy on her face here!

And a few weeks ago we went to the strawberry patch to pick with our friends. The berries are so good! They spoil me from wanting to buy strawberries at the store.  They are SO much sweeter and better!  I have already gone back for another gallon and am hoping we can get at least one more bucket before the end of the season.

Popee, I hope you like the new pictures.  We are so excited to see you (and all of our family) in person very soon!

Strawberry Picking

This week is spring break for our local schools and Landree’s preschool follows the same schedule.  This morning we went strawberry picking!  I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but I can tell you that Hudson ate his weight in strawberries and really enjoyed playing in the dirt.  Landree loved eating too and picking and talking with her friends.  After we picked two big baskets we headed to the park to play for a bit before we headed to lunch.  Poor Hudson feel asleep on the way to the park and on the way home from lunch.  Strawberry picking is hard work!  (actually, they were super easy to pick :)

He also liked eating the dirt (more like sand).  He must be deficient in something!  He did the same thing at the beach last year.

Don’t be fooled by the picture.  I had her pick one for the camera.  I think the kids ate more than they picked.

I bet I took 50 group pictures.  They are funny!  The first 20-no Samuel and they just go down hill from there :) This is the first shot and probably the best, but we had a fun time :)
