Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to our wonderful Momma’s!  I know we are so blessed to have such wonderful relationships with them. 

I couldn’t ask for a better Momma or Mia for my kiddos.  My mom and I are so much alike in so many ways-I’ve learned everything I know from the best :)   I love you so much and I feel so blessed that you are my mom and my best friend!

 

 

And I’m so thankful for my mother in law, Angie.  Thank you for being such a wonderful mother to Jeff.  Because of you he is such a wonderful husband and father.  We love you!  

 

Mia is actually at our house today!  I can’t remember the last time I got to spend Mother’s Day with her and it was so nice!  We went to church this morning, picked up lunch to eat at home, took naps, and then ate a yummy dinner that I made yesterday, twiced baked potatoes, salad, and broccoli salad, then we went to Coldstone for ice cream.  It was a wonderful day! 

I want to share more about our Mother’s Day cards and little gift we got for our Momma’s, but I’m a totally slacker that hates the post office and I haven’t gotten Grandma’s in the mail yet so I won’t spoil it for her.

Beach Pictures 2009 and Happy Mother's Day

Tonight we went to Isle of Palms to have our annual beach pictures taken. Stacey has done these for us the past two years and they are always my favorite pictures! I love beach pictures! You can see last years pictures here. I need to put our first session on here too. It was before I started our blog, but they are my all time favorite pictures. EVER. After Stacey had her turn I took a few for instant gratification-I was hoping to get more, but Landree was really done and was just interested in playing in the sand. These should help wet your appetite. I can't wait to see what Stacey got!

Oh, and it was CRAZY windy! These are all SOOC aside from the fabulous free presets I ran in lightroom. Thanks Rebecca! I love all of them; they are all perfect for beach pictures!

Happy Mother's Day to our wonderful Mommas!

To my momma-I couldn't ask for a better momma! I love you so much! You are my best friend. I know we are so lucky to have this type of relationship. Thanks for being my momma first and then my friend. I pray I can be as good of mom to Landree.

To Angie (my mother in law)-thank you for raising such a wonderful son! I couldn't ask for a better husband and dad. He is already such a wonderful dad to Landree I can't wait to see him in action with our son! I am so lucky to have him and you in my life.

Landree-I am so lucky to be your momma! I love you so much! I can't imagine our lives without you. You are such a joy and you have such a sweet heart. You're the best girl in the whole world!

Momma and Angie, I wish we were there to celebrate with you tomorrow, but here's a {big hug} from South Carolina! We love y'all!

Happy Mother's Day!

This morning Jeff had two cards for me (a funny card and a serious card) and a CD with this on it was in one of them! I love it! Jeff is such an awesome, thoughtful, caring husband. He's actually quite opposite of me. I love being creative and making things, but he always tops me on stuff like this. He's made me books, and 'keys' to his heart, and a notebook complied with notes from friends and family, and this year on Mother's Day he made me this video with video and pictures of Landree with the song "Safe and Sound" by Matthew West. I love it. If you don't have time to watch it all be sure to skip to the end for the last video clip of Landree it's so cute!!! The video is about 4 minutes. Plus, on Thursday, when I got home from work Jeff had tulips that he had ordered me on the table with a wonderful lunch he made! I have lots of catching up to do from our weekend away and fun pictures to post. Tomorrow (Monday) is my birthday too! Lots of celebrating going on :)

On a side note: This morning at church Pastor Dino told us if we have a romantic husband not to brag because everyone will hate him. They might take him out behind the church and beat them up-men aren't born naturally knowing how to be good husbands. Well, I can't help but to brag-I HAVE THE BEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD!
