Valentine’s Day 2011

We’ve had a great Valentine’s day here, Jeff and I decided that we wouldn’t do anything big and that we would go out on a weekend soon, but he never disappoints.  When we got home from dance Jeff had left us a note on the door. 

So we headed to our rooms to find out goodies =)  Landree was so excited! 

She loved her balloon and candy and her flower.  She loves fresh flowers.  And Hudson LOVED his balloon!  I haven’t given him any candy. 

 

And I loved my tulips!  I much prefer tulips to roses!  They are my favorite! 

We played this afternoon and then Landree got ready for her big date tonight with Daddy.  She and Jeff went to Cici’s and to play at Chuckie Cheese.  They had so much fun-Landree ate more candy today than I think she ever has and she even got a princess figurine at Chuckie Cheese-one that was about 300 tickets and she only had 28 tickets.  She told the lady that she wanted the Aurora and the lady said they only had Cinderella and Ariel, but she ended up with an Aurora.  You don’t argue with a 4 year old about her princess-she knows them! :)

  

Landree wanted to look very fancy tonight.  I suggested that she wear her red petti skirt and we painted her nails and she wore a fancy braclet and necklace too.

They had a great night and so did Hudson and I we ate Chickfila which I loved because I didn’t have to cook and then he took a bath and we read lots of books before bed time. 

Preschool Egg Hunt

The Tuesday before Easter, Landree’s preschool hosted an egg hunt. Unfortunately, I had a last minute dentist appointment to get a crown on a tooth that broke the day before-ugh! I had to miss the egg hunt, but Jeff (super dad) headed out with Hudson and camera in tow to document the occasion. They started out by having a picnic lunch and playing a few games. It was a beautiful day!!!

Jeff even tried to get a picture of both Hudson and Landree for me, but we all know it’s almost impossible to get a picture of the two of them together and this was no exception :) It’s hard for Landree to hold Hudson considering he’s only weighs 10 pounds less than her.

After the egg hunt and my dentist appointment we all headed to the park to play for a little while with the Evans. And afterward we headed for TCBY.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Ok, so it’s way after the fact, but I wanted to share a few pictures of our sweet girl on Valentine’s Day. Daddy takes such good care {pampering} of us girls, and Valentine’s Day was no different. He got tulips for me and surprised Landree with a rose, gummy worms, and a new elephant. (Which she named Sarah Jessica, after Sarah Jessica Parker because she was on Sesame Street.) Jeff and I went to dinner and out for coffee a few days later and Landree was in heaven when Lauren, one of our college students, came to put her to bed. I hope all of you had a great Valentine’s Day!

Fun with sidewalk chalk...

Mr. Frank, Mrs. Tammy, Ty and Katie gave Landree a bag full of goodies for her birthday. One of her favorite things was a tub of sidewalk chalk. As you've seen in another post she and daddy have been playing with it and she and I have also played with it lots. The day before Landree's birthday, after preschool, Jeff was getting her lunch ready while Landree played on the patio. Here's what he found when he went out to get her. Like I said she loves using her new chalk.

Isn't Landree creative? And she spells so well for a 2 year old!

I don't even know how to title this...first of all she's standing on the table (these pictures were taken when I was at work) Jeff had a few errands to run this morning and he got Landree all dolled up in her Dog Bar t-shirt from Colorado, matching capri's (they have a ruffle on them-they totally don't match, but she's cute anyway) and her new boots I got her yesterday from Target. She insisted on wearing them-they are too big because I bought them for the fall. Anyway...I love these pictures. She is so joyful and loves spending time with her daddy!

Here's my page with a few of my favorite pictures from our picnic we had at Bear Lake in CO. I got so many cute pictures of Landree. She hiked up the side of the mountain BY HERSELF! Jeff would ask her if she needed help and she would say no, self! Oh and she held onto those flowers until we got home and laid her down for her nap.
