We have a big boy (bed)!

It’s official, I have children, kids, NOT babies!  UGH!  It has happened so quickly!  We moved Hudson into a big boy bed on Monday, May 14th.  I hadn’t really planned on switching it his bed yet.  We are going to Texas soon and knew he could sleep in the pack and play at my parents still and then when we got back I could get him a new bed.  My parents got him his bedding for Christmas so we already had that, but I guess I just wasn’t in a rush.  But this week there was a deal on Living Social where you could get a $200 credit for $50 toward a mattress, but it didn’t count toward a twin size bed and that’s what I planned to get him.  One of my friends purchased one and mentioned to the lady at the store that I wanted a twin and she said I could use the deal-thus starting the process :)  I had already been shopping around a little and really liked a bed at another store so I decided to go that evening after Jeff got home to see if I still liked that bed better.  I told them about the deal that I was thinking of buying from another store and that I could pay in cash and they gave me the same price they had quoted me before, but with no tax and free bed rails.  So I came home borrowed our neighbors truck and went and got it!  I still wasn’t sure when we were going to set it up, but when I got it home Jeff was so excited he had it set up in no time.  And Hudson (and Landree) love his new big boy bed.
